About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Architectural Design Manager to lead and develop our Design Department. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and business acumen to drive high-quality design outputs aligned with regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management
- Establish and lead the architectural design department
- Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary design team
- Develop internal design processes, QA/QC standards, and workflows
Technical Excellence
- Review and approve design deliverables (Concept to IFC)
- Ensure high-quality architectural outputs (drawings, presentations, 3D visuals)
- Lead complex design problem-solving
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with Saudi Building Code and local authority requirements
- Coordinate with relevant authorities
Design Tools & BIM
- Lead BIM implementation and coordination
- Ensure efficient use of Revit and other design platforms
Business Development Support
- Support technical proposals and client presentations
- Translate client requirements into design strategies
- Participate in project acquisition and client meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
- 15–20 years of experience (Saudi experience preferred)
- Proven experience managing design teams
- Strong knowledge of Saudi codes and regulations
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Revit (mandatory)
- AutoCAD
- 3D visualization tools (Lumion, Twinmotion, etc.)
