Job description
An international bank with strong footprints in the region is looking for a new Head of CIB in Doha to bolster their offering and coverage out of Qatar. This role will play a pivotal role in driving growth and market share of the Branch.
About the role
The Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking will work closely with the senior leadership on the strategy of the branch and exploring ideas to break out into new product offerings and segments. The firm is looking to bolster their performance within Qatar, and this role is critical in achieving their set goals and visions.
The bank works with a varied range of corporates across Doha, providing an array of debt instruments. Ideally, this individual will be able to roll out new products whilst also tapping into their coverage network to grow the client base of the bank. There is a strong succession plan in place for this individual given a successful roll out of strategy and increased market share.
About you
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must possess at least 15 years of experience within CIB for an international or regional bank, ideally in Qatar or the wider GCC. Bringing a Qatar-based network to this role is a must. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Arabic and have had exposure to rolling out new strategies into fresh market segments and products.
