Role Description The Head of Accounting at PayLink is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Khobar. This role oversees the entire accounting function, including managing general ledger activities, supervising month-end and year-end closing processes, and ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements. Responsibilities include leading financial reporting, maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and coordinating audits with external and internal stakeholders. The Head of Accounting will develop and implement accounting policies and procedures, monitor cash flow and budgeting processes, and provide financial analysis to support strategic decisions. The role includes managing and mentoring the accounting team, improving systems and controls, and collaborating closely with finance and operations to ensure strong financial governance.
Qualifications
- Strong Accounting expertise, including mastery of core accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with experience preparing and reviewing statutory and management reports.
- Solid Finance and Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, support forecasting, and guide business decisions.
- Experience leading accounting teams, with the ability to coach, develop, and manage performance.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and standards; experience in fintech or financial services is an advantage.
- Advanced skills in accounting and ERP systems, and strong proficiency in spreadsheet and reporting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders on-site in Al Khobar.
