Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the restaurant industry, demonstrating proficiency in cashiering duties and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This role requires an energetic individual who excels in upselling and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently operate cash registers and POS systems to process transactions accurately and promptly.
- Welcome customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
- Effectively communicate menu items, promotions, and special offers to guests, actively engaging in upselling techniques to enhance the overall dining experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision and integrity, adhering to established cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station, ensuring a tidy and welcoming environment for customers.
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist with additional tasks as needed to support restaurant operations and uphold quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cashier/waitress in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for building rapport with customers.
- Proven ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- Detail-oriented and reliable, with a focus on accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be proactive, outgoing, and enthusiastic about delivering exceptional service.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR2,700.00 – QAR3,400.00 per month
