HEAD BARISTA
Position: Head Barista

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Head Barista to lead our barista team and ensure the highest standards of coffee quality, customer service, cleanliness, and daily café operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the barista team during daily operations.
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages according to company standards.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, portioning, and beverage quality.
- Train new and existing baristas on coffee preparation, equipment handling, recipes, and service standards.
- Check and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other bar equipment.
- Monitor inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and other bar supplies.
- Assist with daily and monthly inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit daily operational reports when required.
- Ensure proper cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the bar area.
- Maintain excellent customer service and handle customer concerns professionally.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety requirements, and applicable Qatar Municipality/Baladiya regulations.
- Coordinate with management regarding operational issues, staff requirements, and stock needs.
- Support the team in achieving sales, quality, and customer satisfaction targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Barista, preferably with experience in a supervisory or senior position.
- Previous experience as a Head Barista, Senior Barista, or Barista Supervisor is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of espresso-based beverages, brewing methods, coffee preparation, and latte art.
- Good knowledge of coffee machines, grinders, and bar equipment.
- Experience in staff training and team supervision.
- Knowledge of inventory control and stock management.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and Qatar Municipality/Baladiya requirements.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced F&B environment.
- Basic computer and Microsoft Office knowledge is an advantage.
