Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, patient, and experienced Hair Stylist / Hairdresser to join our clients kids salon in Sharjah. The ideal candidate should have experience working with children, creating a fun and comfortable salon experience while providing high-quality haircuts, hairstyling, and basic hair care services. The candidate should possess excellent customer service skills and maintain the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform children s haircuts for infants, toddlers, and young children.
- Create appropriate hairstyles for kids.
- Style hair for birthdays, school events, parties, and special occasions.
- Calm and engage children to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable salon experience.
- Consult with parents regarding suitable hairstyles and hair care recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitize all tools, equipment, and workstations according to salon hygiene standards.
- Ensure children s safety throughout the haircut and styling process.
- Manage appointments efficiently and ensure timely service.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Assist in maintaining salon inventory and report stock requirements.
- Follow all health, safety, and company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Professional hairstyling or hairdressing certification is preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience as a Hair Stylist or Hairdresser.
- Previous experience in a kids salon is highly preferred.
- Excellent haircutting and hairstyling skills.
- Patient, friendly, and compassionate with children.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of salon hygiene and sanitation practices.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with children
- Knowledge of children s hair care products.
- Experience handling children with anxiety or those requiring extra patience during haircuts.
- Basic knowledge of hair treatments suitable for children.
