Gypsum & False Ceiling Technician – Full-Time
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Gypsum & False Ceiling Technician to join our team in Riyadh.
Responsibilities
- Install gypsum board ceilings, false ceilings, bulkheads, partitions, and decorative ceiling features.
- Install suspended ceiling systems, metal frames, channels, and support structures.
- Take accurate measurements and follow approved drawings and layouts.
- Cut, fix, align, and level gypsum boards and ceiling materials.
- Perform joint treatment, taping, filling, sanding, and surface preparation.
- Install access panels, ceiling openings, trims, and finishing details.
- Repair, modify, and maintain existing gypsum and false ceiling systems.
- Coordinate ceiling works with electrical, HVAC, fire alarm, and other MEP services.
- Ensure proper alignment, level, dimensions, and high-quality finishing.
- Safely operate hand and power tools.
- Maintain tools and equipment and follow all site safety requirements.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Gypsum & False Ceiling Technician or similar role.
- Strong practical experience in gypsum and suspended ceiling installation.
- Knowledge of metal framing, ceiling grids, channels, and support systems.
- Ability to read drawings and work according to measurements and specifications.
- Good knowledge of finishing techniques and materials.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Good attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Saudi Arabia/GCC experience is preferred.
- Valid Saudi Iqama is preferred.
- Candidates available in Riyadh are preferred.
