Gymnastics Coach – FIG Level 2 Preferred (Gymnastics Academy / Youth Sports / Recreational or Competition
Black Pearl is recruiting a qualified and enthusiastic Gymnastics Coach for a premium sports and fitness facility in Abu Dhabi.
The successful candidate will deliver safe, progressive and engaging artistic gymnastics sessions for children and participants across different ages and ability levels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan and deliver structured artistic gymnastics lessons.
• Teach appropriate gymnastics techniques, movement patterns, strength, flexibility, balance and coordination.
• Adapt sessions according to each participant’s age, ability and development level.
• Create a fun, safe, positive and inclusive training environment.
• Support participants in improving their technique, confidence, physical fitness and performance.
• Monitor participant development and provide constructive feedback.
• Follow safeguarding, child-protection, health and safety and risk-management procedures.
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries when working with children and young people.
• Inspect gymnastics equipment before use and report damage or safety concerns.
• Maintain and organise gymnastics equipment and programme supplies.
• Deliver at least five group lessons per working day, according to the approved schedule.
• Support internal and external competitions, showcases and recreational events.
• Assist with organising gymnastics activities at least once per quarter.
• Promote the gymnastics programme within the facility, local schools and the wider community.
• Build positive relationships with participants, parents and colleagues.
• Communicate participant progress and programme information professionally.
• Support holiday camps, workshops, promotional activities and community events.
• Maintain accurate attendance, assessment and programme records.
• Participate in coach education and continuing professional development.
