Job Description
As a Beach Guru, your primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient and timely operation of all Beach & Recreational area activities. Your key responsibilities include:
Following all guidelines of the Recreation Department’s SOPs and task lists.
Organizing, cleaning, and maintaining the Recreation Area and back offices.
Carrying out daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks as assigned by the Recreation Supervisor or Assistant Recreation Manager.
Properly cleaning, storing, and securing equipment when not in use.
Managing towels, including laundry duties, to maintain adequate stock.
Performing additional duties as assigned by management, including lateral service and overnight cleaning.
Providing excellent customer service and maintaining professional behavior at all times.
Complying with all company and department policies and procedures.
Setting up workstations with necessary supplies and maintaining cleanliness during shifts.
Attending to guest needs courteously and efficiently.
Understanding all recreational activities and events thoroughly.
Providing amenities services to club and hotel guests as per SOP or supervisor instructions.
Ensuring amenities are always available for guests.
Completing daily task and checklist duties.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Participating in project teams and fostering strong inter-departmental relationships.
Having comprehensive knowledge of hotel products, services, and leisure activities.
Following proper procedures for charging recreation services.
Assuming additional responsibilities as directed by management.
Driving departmental revenue.
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in a similar role within the hotel industry.
Pleasant personality and a focused attitude.
Ability to handle work pressure and multitask effectively.
Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
