Role Description
The Guest Service Agent role is a full-time, on-site position based at City Seasons Towers in Dubai. This role is responsible for welcoming guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and ensuring a smooth and positive guest experience throughout their stay. Daily tasks include handling reservations, responding to guest inquiries, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments, and resolving issues promptly and professionally. The Guest Service Agent will process payments, maintain accurate records, and follow hotel policies and procedures to uphold brand standards. This position also supports concierge services by providing information on hotel facilities, local attractions, transportation options, and special requests.
Qualifications
- Experience in front office or guest services in hotels or hospitality, with strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages commonly used by international and GCC travelers are an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment with attention to detail, professionalism, and a courteous manner.
- Competence in using hotel reservation systems, basic computer applications, and handling cash and electronic payments accurately.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
- A diploma or degree in hospitality or tourism management is preferred.
- Strong teamwork skills, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service
- Knowledgeable with IDS system is a MUST.
- Greeting guests upon arrival and making them feel welcomed.
- Assigning rooms and taking care of administrative duties.
- Delivering mail and messages.
- Being a source of information to guests on various matters such as transport and restaurant advice.
