Key Responsibilities:
Strategy &
Leadership
:
Help shape and implement our global HSE strategy, focusing on risk reduction and zero serious injuries/fatalities (SIF).
Serve as the primary HSE leader when the Group VP is unavailable.
Lead HSE audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews—identify gaps and recommend solutions.
Investigate serious incidents, find root causes, and implement preventive actions.
Risk Management & Compliance:
Advise business units on best practices, safety standards, and risk controls.
Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations.
Drive
continuous improvement
through training, behavioral safety programs, and best practices.
Projects &
Collaboration:
Manage HSE projects from initiation to completion—on time and within budget.
Partner with internal teams (operations, HR,
leadership
) and external agencies (regulators, industry groups).
Analyze incident trends, prepare reports, and share lessons learned across the organization.
Assist in developing and rolling out HSE training programs to strengthen safety culture.
Basic Qualifications:
Education:
Degree or diploma in HSE, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
8+ years in HSE, with 3+ years in a
senior leadership role
.
5+ years in heavy industries (ports, logistics, manufacturing, or similar).
Proven track record
in incident investigations, risk management, and training.
Experience in Global organizations.
Industry experience in Port & terminal Industry is preferred, but other industries are also welcome.
