Joga Ram Group is a diversified conglomerate with operations spanning general trading, furniture manufacturing, interior fit-out, real estate, and contracting. We’re looking for a qualified, hands-on Group Finance Manager to head the finance function across our group entities — ensuring compliance, financial accuracy, and sound strategic decision-making at every level.
Role Overview
As Group Finance Manager, you’ll take ownership of accounting and finance operations across multiple Group companies, working directly with the Managing Director on financial strategy, consolidation, and governance. This role calls for strong command of financial reporting, budgeting, tax, cash flow/treasury, audits, and compliance — plus the ability to lead a multi-entity finance team and deliver insight that shapes business decisions Group-wide.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Head the finance function across all Group companies
- Work alongside the MD and senior leadership on financial strategy and business planning
- Drive consolidation and standardize accounting practices across entities
- Advise on financial implications of expansion, investment, and operational moves
Financial Management
- Oversee day-to-day accounting across Group companies
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financials under IFRS
- Manage month-end and year-end close across entities
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and intercompany balances
- Safeguard the accuracy and integrity of Group financial data
Budgeting & Planning
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial projections at Group level
- Track budget utilization and flag variances across entities
- Build consolidated cash flow forecasts and manage liquidity
- Deliver financial insight and recommendations to the MD and management
Payables & Receivables
- Oversee AP/AR functions Group-wide
- Monitor supplier payments and customer collections
- Review aging reports and drive effective collection strategies
- Ensure vendor obligations are settled on time
Banking & Treasury
- Manage Group banking relationships and facilities
- Oversee bank reconciliations and cash management across entities
- Liaise with banks on trade finance, guarantees, LC/TR, and related requirements
- Monitor fund utilization and working capital Group-wide
Tax & Compliance
- Ensure Group-wide compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements
- Review VAT filings and tax documentation across entities
- Maintain IFRS and UAE regulatory compliance Group-wide
- Represent the Group with external auditors and regulatory bodies
Audit & Internal Controls
- Lead internal and external audits across Group entities
- Strengthen Group-wide internal controls and SOPs
- Identify financial risk and recommend corrective action
- Uphold company policy and financial procedure across entities
Inventory & Cost Control
- Oversee inventory valuation and stock reconciliation across relevant entities
- Review product costing and manufacturing cost structures
- Analyze project profitability and operating costs Group-wide
- Drive cost optimization initiatives across the Group
Team Leadership
- Lead, supervise, and mentor Senior Accountants, Accountants, and finance staff across entities
- Review accounting entries, reports, and month-end deliverables from the team
- Assign responsibilities, set priorities, and track team performance
- Build team capability in accounting standards and best practice
Management Reporting
- Prepare consolidated MIS reports for the MD and senior leadership
- Present financial performance, KPIs, and profitability at Group level
- Support strategic decisions through in-depth financial analysis
- Recommend ways to improve operational and financial efficiency
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- 8–12 years of UAE experience, including 3–5 years in a finance leadership/managerial role
- Track record managing finance/accounts teams across multiple companies or business verticals
- Solid grasp of IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax regulations
- Background in Trading, Manufacturing, Construction, Interior Fit-Out, or Real Estate strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems (Tally, Zoho, SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or equivalent)
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting tool skills
- Demonstrated experience liaising with banks, auditors, and government authorities
- Prior experience leading a finance team required
