Job Summary
Fourth Dimension Group is seeking an experienced GRE/GRP Supervisor to oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of GRE (Glass Reinforced Epoxy) and GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) piping systems for major projects in Qatar.
The ideal candidate must have strong GCC experience in non-metallic piping systems and be capable of supervising site activities while ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise installation, fabrication, jointing, testing, and commissioning of GRE/GRP piping systems.
- Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with approved drawings, procedures, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor workforce productivity and ensure work is completed within project schedules.
- Conduct daily site inspections and resolve technical issues related to GRE/GRP works.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Prepare daily progress reports and site documentation.
- Coordinate hydrotesting, flushing, and system handover activities.
Requirements
✔ Minimum 5 years GCC experience in GRE/GRP piping projects.
✔ Minimum 8 years total experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial, or Infrastructure projects.
✔ Strong knowledge of GRE/GRP installation, lamination, bonding, jointing, and testing procedures.
✔ Experience supervising large site crews.
✔ Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and isometric drawings.
✔ Good communication and leadership skills.
✔ Experience in Oil & Gas projects is highly preferred.
✔ Immediate joiners will be given preference.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience with major GCC Oil & Gas clients.
- Knowledge of international standards and project specifications for non-metallic piping systems.
