JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: Business Development Senior Executive
1. Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company goals.
Identify and prioritize key markets, industries, and potential partners in the UAE.
Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business in the UAE.
2. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential clients.
Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and ensure excellent customer service.
Relationship building through cold call as appropriate within the market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
3. Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and a competitive landscape.
Stay updated on UAE regulations, economic developments, and industry-specific trends.
4. Sales and Revenue Generation:
Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets through effective prospecting and negotiations.
Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met.
Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
Achieve agreed targets on a monthly/quarterly basis.
5. Client Retention
Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
Work with technical staff and other internal departments to meet customer needs.
Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
6. Business Development Activities
Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
Track, Submit and participate in all industry awards/events and keep a record of the submissions.
Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
7.Collaboration and Coordination:
Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.
Plan approaches and pitches.
Work with a team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
Participate in pricing the solution/service.
Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, operations, and finance to deliver seamless client experiences.
Provide feedback to product development and marketing teams based on market insights.
8. Management and Research
Submit weekly progress reports and ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system.
Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner.
Present business development training and mentoring to sales team and other internal staff.
Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities.
Understand the company’s goal and purpose so that will continue to enhance the company’s performance.
9. Reporting and Documentation:
Estimate pricing and Prepare the Technical and commercial proposal for submission to clients/bid sites/platforms.
Lead the development and preparation and submission of RFP’s, Pre-Qualification, formal presentations.
Research and analyze business development opportunities and monitor bid sites and platforms.
Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses, including the ability to take off quantity, BOQ, and reviews of MEP drawings.
Update the CRM with the activity, including quotation status to generate realistic pipelines and sales forecasts.
Develop and maintain marketing materials in close collaboration with the technical team.
Prepare regular reports on business development activities, performance metrics, and pipeline forecasts.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and opportunity records in CRM systems.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
Professional Experience:
8-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role with Facilities Management Companies in UAE (Mandatory)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
To be based in UAE and willing to travel as required by the company for Business Development purpose.
Skills & Expectations:
Strong understanding of the UAE market and cultural nuances.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in English (Arabic is a strong advantage).
Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret market data.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
The candidate should have experience of working on Monthly, Quarterly and annual targets.
Shall work on a Fixed and variable salary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED11,000.00 – AED15,000.00 per month
