Graduate Trainee – Operations Support Services We are seeking a recent graduate to join our Operations Department at Emirates Flight Catering.
Lead and monitor the performance of the Commercial and Services Business Support team by providing coaching, direction, and
on-the-job training
to ensure all tasks are carried out accurately and in a timely manner.
Oversee proper maintenance of the central filing system for historical information and files related to Airline and Airport Catering Division, such as agreements, correspondence, prices, and menus.
Collaborate with internal departments to consolidate Annual Capital Expenditure requirements and prepare a summary for timely budget approval.
Prepare project reports, feasibility studies, statistical reports, and presentations to evaluate commercial, performance, and operational aspects of business.
Validate airline customer performance data in
collaboration
with the IT Department to ensure correct information is reflected on the Business Intelligence Dashboards.
Capture and incorporate changes pertaining to menu items proposed by EKFC or provided by the airline customer in the final document for menu launch.
Distribute broadcasts to ensure internal stakeholders are aligned and continuity of business, including customers’ menus, new updates, change notices, operations manuals, SOPs, memos, flight schedules, or cancellations.
Disseminate airline documentation to internal stakeholders for records and document reference, including menus specification, loading ratios, photo albums, and crew briefing or plating guides.
Coordinate with internal departments on required changes to menus and loading scales for accurate ERP system updates ensuring correct supply to airline customers and accurate billing.
The Graduate Trainee Program consists of a 24-month departmental rotation involving
on-the-job training
, project assignments covering industry knowledge, functional, and management skills. Upon completion, graduates will have gained a comprehensive understanding of operations and expertise to excel and contribute to Emirates Flight Catering’s ongoing success.
Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification.
Fluency in verbal and written English.
Valid UAE Passport.
