A GP Dentist is responsible for providing comprehensive oral healthcare services, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of dental diseases. The role involves managing a wide range of dental conditions and promoting overall oral health for patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine dental examinations and diagnose oral conditions
* Provide preventive care such as scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments
* Carry out restorative procedures (fillings, crowns, bridges)
* Perform simple extractions and basic surgical procedures
* Diagnose and manage gum diseases (gingivitis, mild periodontitis)
* Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays)
* Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
* Prescribe medications when necessary (e.g., antibiotics, analgesics)
* Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
* Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols
* Refer patients to specialists (e.g., orthodontists, periodontists, oral surgeons) when required

Qualifications & Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery (BDS or equivalent)
* Valid dental license (e.g., MOH / DHA / DOH license in UAE)
* Minimum 2–5 years of clinical experience (preferred)
* Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
* Good communication and patient management skills
* Knowledge of infection control standards and regulations and insurance protocols and cpt codes
