Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi is looking for a dynamic and creative Assistant Sales Manager to join our successful team. Our hotel features 203 modern rooms, a variety of food & beverage outlets including Silk Route Caf, Thirty 1st Bar & Lounge, Hubbly Bubbly shisha café, and Stock Burger Co., along with meeting and banqueting facilities.
Job Overview
As a Government & GCC Assistant Sales Manager, you will drive business growth by managing accounts, developing new opportunities, and increasing market share to meet revenue and occupancy targets.
Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the government and GCC markets; maintain strong client relationships and seek new partnerships.
Conduct sales calls, site visits, and presentations; prospect and qualify leads to maximize revenue.
Achieve and surpass sales targets for individual and team performance.
Collaborate with the DOSM and team to optimize pricing, promotions, and sales strategies based on market analysis.
Participate in sales events, trade shows, and networking activities to promote the hotel.
Manage client accounts, negotiate contracts, and ensure high-quality service for high-profile clients.
Handle inquiries, prepare proposals, and follow up on leads efficiently.
Maintain accurate sales records and CRM data.
Coordinate with Events, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver tailored sales strategies and seamless client service.
Assist in preparing reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Hotel or Business Management or related field.
1-2 years experience in sales, preferably managing government/Semi-Gov and GCC segments.
Fluent in English and Arabic.
Legal eligibility to work in the UAE.
Result-oriented, self-motivated, with a positive attitude and high integrity.
Strong team player, flexible, with excellent communication and influencing skills.
