Governance, Risk, and Compliance senior officer (GRC)
Key Responsibilities:
Risk Assessment and Management: Identify, assess, and manage cybersecurity risks across the organization. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities.
Policy and Framework Development: Assist in the creation and maintenance of cybersecurity governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with national and international standards.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards. Conduct internal compliance audits and prepare regulatory reports.
Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and evidence of compliance. Assist in developing remediation plans for any identified gaps.
Training and Awareness: Conduct cybersecurity awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices and organizational policies.
Reporting: Prepare and present reports on risk assessments, compliance status, and audit findings to senior management.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in GRC Cybersecurity roles, with a strong understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks.
Certifications: Professional certifications such as ISO 27001, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, or PMP are advantageous.
Skills:
Proficiency in GRC tools and platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Arabic and English.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
