Overview
I have provided academic advisement to help students become better organized and avoid procrastination. I advised on handling problems more easily, encouraged confident communication with bullies, and emphasized remaining non-confrontational. My experience includes coaching a volleyball team of high school girls for three years, where mediation and counseling helped players achieve success both on and off the court. I have found that many children seek comfort and support, and I am able to provide steady guidance to help them through challenges.
Responsibilities
- Provide academic advisement and organizational strategies to students
- Listen to student concerns and suggest practical solutions
- Guide students in confidence-building and non-violent conflict resolution
- Mediate conflicts as needed and support student development through mentorship
- Apply counseling approaches to help students manage bullying, peer pressure, and self-esteem issues
