This position requires strong communication skills, in depth market intelligence and Freight Forwarding operational experience in a fast paced, dynamic Freight-Forwarding Field Sales environment.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Act as the main point of contact between internal DP teams and client
Collaborate closely with sales executives to assist in the development and execution of sales strategies, including prospecting, lead generation, and account management
Maintain regular communication with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly
Prepare and submit accurate and competitive quotations to clients, ensuring alignment with DP World’s pricing and service standards.
Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments expectations
Analyze customer reporting as needed
Contribute to customer QBR preparation and delivery
Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery, providing updates to clients and internal stakeholders as necessary
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, sales reports, and relevant documentation using our CRM system
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and logistics to ensure a seamless service delivery to clients and excellent customer experience
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Strong knowledge of Freight Forwarding operations and processes
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset
Experience in managing & coordinating solutions, business changes and customer projects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
