Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic German Language Teacher to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate will be experienced in teaching German across various CEFR levels (A1 to C1) and passionate about delivering high-quality, student-centered instruction.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging German lessons aligned with CEFR levels A1 to C1, catering to both beginners and advanced learners.
- Customize lesson plans and activities to meet individual and group learning needs.
- Use digital tools, multimedia resources, and interactive methods to enhance the language learning experience.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Create and evaluate classwork, homework, and practice materials.
- Encourage language immersion and cultural understanding in the classroom.
- Collaborate with academic coordinators and participate in curriculum development and internal workshops.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in German Language, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience, ideally in a multicultural or international setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and ability to teach levels A1 through C1.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
- Experience using technology in language instruction.
