Job Responsibilities:
Operation & Maintenance: Ensure smooth functionality and reliability of generators by operating and maintaining them efficiently.
Routine Inspections: Conduct regular visual inspections to identify leaks, corrosion, wear, or damage.
Major Servicing: Perform scheduled engine servicing at defined intervals to maintain optimal performance.
Daily Equipment Monitoring:
Check oil, coolant, and fuel levels to prevent disruptions.
Assess battery condition and ensure proper functioning.
Monitor control panel status and respond to any alerts.
Log & Reporting
Maintain accurate
log sheets
and report any irregularities or potential issues to the supervisor.
Requirements:
Technical Certification: ITI or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in generator operation and maintenance.
Understanding of diesel and gas-powered generators.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Good reporting and documentation abilities
Candidates should be physically fit to handle equipment and maintenance tasks.
Must be willing to work in rotational shifts if required.
UAE experience is a plus but not mandatory.
