HR Generalist Job in Doha, Qatar
Qatar Airways offers an exciting opportunity to join our HR team supporting various divisions. As an HR Generalist, you will provide professional HR support to line managers and contribute to developing and implementing HR strategies across recruitment, organizational design, retention, rewards, and employee engagement. You will also guide, advise, and coach line managers on HR policies, procedures, and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Consult with key line managers to understand and implement HR policies and procedures.
Drive HR initiatives in collaboration with line managers.
Support HR documentation and approval processes.
Assist in developing accurate job descriptions and recruitment approvals.
Act as the communication hub for the HR team, ensuring effective information flow.
Implement HR policies related to performance management, discipline, and absence.
Advise on performance evaluation and development planning.
Provide guidance on pay, promotions, and transfers.
Communicate company policies and procedures to staff.
Facilitate training and coaching on HR and management skills.
Research HR best practices and recommend improvements.
Gather data and prepare reports to support HR functions.
Assist with correspondence, reports, and document management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
At least four years of relevant HR experience.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Experience with HR best practices, case management, employee relations, and organizational design.
Experience in HR roles such as HR Specialist or Officer.
Advanced HR qualification or accreditation is preferred.
Strong understanding of HR management theories and employee relations.
Ability to engage, inspire, and influence others.
Creative and innovativeproblem-solving skills.
