The General Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of technical and maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation, safety, and functionality of equipment, systems, or facilities. This role requires a hands-on individual with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain various mechanical, electrical, or structural systems.
– Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, tools, and facilities.
– Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, or technical issues.
– Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
– Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
– Follow preventative maintenance schedules and complete service reports.
– Assist in the installation, setup, or modification of equipment and systems.
– Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
– Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
– Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, or supervisors as needed.
– Maintain records of work performed and materials used.
