Key Responsibilities
- Perform a broad spectrum of general surgical operations, with an emphasis on operative care
- Assess patients’ conditions through clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing, developing individualized surgical treatment plans
- Collaborate actively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management
- Manage preoperative preparation and postoperative follow-up to optimize patient recovery
- Provide clear and compassionate communication with patients and their families regarding procedures, risks, and recovery
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of surgical procedures and patient progress
- Stay current with best practices, surgical innovations, and advancements within general surgery
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in General Surgery from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in Sharjah/UAE
- Proven experience in performing a variety of general surgical procedures, with expertise in operative care
- Strong clinical knowledge of surgical techniques, patient assessment, and postoperative management
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary healthcare environment
