Project Overview:
The Ar Rjum Project comprises a green field gold project with three open pit mining operations with associated waste dumps and ore stockpile, a processing plant, tailings management facilities, and supporting infrastructure including water supply, power supply, maintenance facilities, offices, temporary and permanent accommodation village.
The Project is situated within the Central Arabian Gold Region, approximately 200 km north-east of Taif towards Riyadh and about 26 km South of Al Mouwayh,which is a small town situated on the Jeddah – Riyadh highway.
Job Summary:
In this role, you will lead a team and supervise superintendents and/or craft professionals on a project. You will direct craft professional activities and work schedules, and coordinate subcontract work activities and team development. Your oversight will ensure craft professionals have the tools required to be productive, comply with project policies, procedures, and job site work rules and procedures, and perform within specifications, schedules and budgets.
Major Responsibilities:
– Leadership / Supervision (Supervision of discipline and lead superintendents with 100+ craft)
– Proactively engages with their team’s development through CPM, Competency development/assessment and feedback
– Supervises and directs craft activities, subordinate superintendents, and others, as assigned.
Planning / Productivity
– Determines workforce requirements.
– Prepares reports and forecasts, including summary of construction progress, craft personnel forecasts, and expenditures forecast.
Tools, Materials & Equipment
– Monitors tool and equipment usage on the site.
Prepares Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensures that the crafts have the tools they require to be productive.
Safety & Quality
– Ensures assigned construction operations and subcontractors’ performance are in compliance with specifications Responsible for the implementation of corporate/project policies, procedures, and instructions within assigned operations.
– Monitors work activities and ensures the quality of work performed.
Technical
– Works with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents
– Coordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.
