STRUCTURAL has been established in UAE since 2008 and has offices/operations in Qatar and KSA.
We are currently recruiting for a General Superintendent to be based out of our Saudi Arabia office and provide construction leadership across the KSA. As a General Superintendent in KSA, you will be responsible for providing high-level field management to other Superintendents, Foremen, as well as our open-shop crews that make our nation’s structures stronger and last longer. Projects typically include concrete repair, cathodic protection, waterproofing, and structural strengthening in commercial and industrial settings.
Responsibilities include:
Interfacing closely with Superintendents and Project Managers to direct, plan, coordinate, and execute project work in a timely manner within budget while maintaining a safe workplace, working closely with the branch Manager of Construction.
Participating in pre-project and pre-task planning activities, then disseminating planning details to field teams.
Managing construction activities, safety, means & methods, and productivity for assigned projects.
Providing training and mentoring to field managers to support their professional growth.
Assisting project teams in developing monthly progress reports, payment applications, cost reports, and other financial documentation.
Completing all essential paperwork accurately and clearly.
Interviewing and hiring new field employees.
Leading STRUCTURAL’s Safety 24/7 culture.
Candidate criteria include:
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, including technical writing.
Strong hands-on construction knowledge and a technical understanding of projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, or significant relevant work experience.
10+ years in general construction, with at least 5 years in a field management role at a Superintendent level or higher.
Experience with repair projects such as concrete repair, structural strengthening, waterproofing, corrosion control, façade restoration, etc.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to manage field managers and oversee operations.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
Effective communication skills with clients, crews, and teams.
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Project, and Excel.
Leadership skills to train, mentor, and hold team members accountable.
