Position: General Practitioner (Orthopedics)
A leading Hospital in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly motivated and patient-focused General Practitioner – Orthopedics to join its multidisciplinary medical team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality orthopedic care, supporting consultants, and ensuring excellent patient outcomes in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Provide initial evaluation, treatment, and follow-up care for orthopedic patients.
- Support orthopedic consultants in outpatient clinics, inpatient care, and procedural services.
- Interpret diagnostic investigations, including laboratory and imaging results.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment options, rehabilitation, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) recognized by relevant authorities.
- Valid DOH License/Eligibility as a General Practitioner.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical experience, preferably within Orthopedics or Musculoskeletal Medicine.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Fluency in English;
Arabic language skills are an advantage.
