​Role Overview
​We are a well-established contracting company in Dubai looking for a high-caliber, strategic, and operations-driven General Manager / Projects Manager. You will take full operational and financial ownership of SME, ensuring top-tier project quality, timely delivery, robust cash flow management, and the implementation of modern construction systems. The ideal candidate is a planning expert, an operational leader, and fully compliant with Dubai Municipality regulations.
​Key Responsibilities
​Operational Leadership & Delivery: Oversee all ongoing projects from groundbreaking to handover. Guarantee that project quality meets strict standards and milestones are delivered on time.
​Financial & Cash Flow Management: Actively manage project billing, variations, and cash flow tracking. Optimize resource allocation to protect and improve profit margins.
​Systems & Efficiency Innovation: Introduce and implement modern construction management systems, digital tools, and lean building methodologies to maximize on-site productivity and reduce waste.
​Contractual & Risk Management: Review, negotiate, and administer contracts based on FIDIC conditions. Protect the company from contractual risks, manage claims, and handle dispute resolutions effectively.
​Planning & Scheduling: Lead the master planning, critical path analysis, and resource scheduling across multiple simultaneous sites to prevent bottlenecks.
​Client & Stakeholder Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and government authorities, ensuring smooth project approvals and high client satisfaction.
​Requirements & Qualifications
​UAE Experience: Minimum of 10–15 years of progressive experience in the UAE construction sector, with a proven track record of managing companies or large-scale projects with an annual turnover of AED 50M or greater.
​Licensing: Must hold an active Dubai Municipality (DM) License (G+1, G+4, or Unlimited, depending on your current classification).
​Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent recognized project management certification is mandatory.
​Contractual Knowledge: Deep, practical understanding of FIDIC terms and conditions, contract administration, and UAE construction law.
​Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
​Skills: Exceptional leadership, sharp commercial acumen, advanced construction planning software skills (Primavera P6/MS Project), and strong negotiation capabilities.
