Position:General Manager of Technical Cooperation
Location: Abu Dhabi
Department: Oilfield Technical Service Company
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the global search, evaluation, and introduction of new technologies and processes, and establish an external technical resource database.
- Lead commercial negotiations for technical cooperation projects, including technology licensing, joint R&D, joint ventures, and other partnership models, and oversee the signing and implementation of related agreements .
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to transform introduced technologies into commercially viable service offerings or solution packages.
- Represent the company at international industry conferences and technical exhibitions, and maintain ongoing relationships with overseas technology companies and research institutions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the oilfield services industry, including at least 3 years in technology commercialization, international cooperation, or related business development roles.
- Proficiency in English as a working language, with the ability to independently review technical documents, conduct commercial negotiations, and deliver presentations in English.
- Outgoing and proactive, with a strong passion for external engagement, and skilled at building and maintaining professional networks at industry conferences and business settings.
- Possess strong technical insight and commercial negotiation skills, with the ability to independently drive technology assessments and advance cooperation agreements.
- Familiarity with multiple technical domains in oilfield services, including drilling, completion, fracturing, production, workover, and digitalization; demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and integrate knowledge across disciplines. Proactively track emerging international technologies (e.g., low-carbon solutions, intelligent drilling, new completion tools, etc.) and rapidly assess their potential value to the company's business.
