Position: General Manager – Holiday Inn Meydan
Role
Purpose
As General Manager of Holiday Inn Riyadh Meydan, you will manage the day-to-day
leadership
and direction of the hotel, maximising sales and revenue and driving financial returns. You will take ownership of staff development, execute brand standards, and build awareness of the hotel and brand locally.
Key Accountabilities People
Develop programmes and initiatives to increase team engagement aligned with the hotel’s service philosophy.
Implement and monitor team member succession planning to ensure future bench strength.
Establish performance and development goals, providing mentoring, coaching, and feedback to enhance performance.
Oversee HR actions in accordance with company policies.
Guest Experience
Maintain compliance with brand and service standards, demonstrating brand citizenship.
Drive improvements in guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with staff to establish services and programmes that meet or exceed guest expectations.
Engage with guests to gather feedback and build relationships.
Financial
Prepare annual budgets including capital, cash flow, and sales & marketing plans.
Analyze financials to drive revenue, profitability, and ROI.
Utilize distribution channels and technology to maximize market share.
Lead capital plans and asset management, working with owners to maintain or improve market position.
Responsible Business
Ensure safety and security for guests, staff, and assets.
Act as a public relations ambassador to promote the hotel and brand locally.
Encourage team involvement in community activities.
Develop environmentally-conscious action plans to reduce the hotel’s carbon footprint.
Perform additional duties as assigned, including serving as manager on duty.
Key Skills & Experiences
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent.
Five to ten years of hotel management experience or equivalent.
Experience requirements may vary based on hotel size and complexity.
Fluent in English; additional languages preferred.
