As we expand our presence in the market, we are seeking an experienced and commercially driven General Manager to lead the organization, strengthen our operational capabilities, and play a key role in securing new business opportunities.
Position Summary
The General Manager will be responsible for the overall strategic, operational, and commercial performance of the company. This is a leadership role requiring a dynamic professional who not only possesses extensive facilities management expertise but also has a proven track record of generating new business through strong industry relationships, networking, and successful client acquisition.
Candidates whose experience is limited to operational management without demonstrated success in winning new facilities management contracts are unlikely to be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversee the overall operations of the company.
- Develop and execute business growth strategies aligned with the company’s vision and objectives.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new facilities management contracts across government, semi-government, and private sectors.
- Leverage existing industry contacts and professional networks to generate new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, tender submissions, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure efficient delivery of all facilities management services while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor financial performance, budgets, profitability, and operational KPIs.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Represent the company at business meetings, networking events, conferences, and industry forums.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree will be an advantage.
- Professional certifications such as MEFMA, IWFM, IFMA, PMP, or equivalent will be highly desirable.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in the Facilities Management industry.
- At least 5 years in a senior management or leadership position.
- Demonstrated success in securing new facilities management contracts and expanding business portfolios.
- Well-established professional network within Qatar’s facilities management and construction sectors.
- Strong understanding of hard services, soft services, integrated FM solutions, and contract management.
- Experience dealing with government entities, corporate organizations, and major commercial clients will be an advantage.

Pay: QAR20,000.00 – QAR22,000.00 per month
