JOB PURPOSE:
The Global Vice President – Post-Merger Integration (PMI) is responsible for leading and executing the integration of acquired logistics businesses into DP World’s global operations. The role ensures seamless alignment of business processes, technology platforms, and organizational structures while driving synergy realization, business continuity, and operational efficiency. The VP will establish and oversee a standardized PMI framework, working closely with global functional leads and regional teams to execute integrations effectively.
This role reports directly to the Global CFO – Logistics, with a dotted line to the SVP – Project Management Office (Logistics) to ensure PMI initiatives align with DP World’s broader project management and governance standards.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the long-term success of acquired logistics businesses within DP World’s global network. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, strategic vision, and execution capabilities to drive high-impact integrations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Integration Strategy & Execution
Design and implement a scalable, standardized PMI framework for logistics acquisitions.
Lead the end-to-end integration process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and deal value drivers.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with integration to ensure smooth transitions and business continuity.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure integration success and report progress regularly.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Manage and coordinate global functional leads (Finance, IT, HR, Operations, Commercial, Legal, etc.) and regional integration teams to drive seamless post-merger activities.
Collaborate with regional leadership teams to adapt integration approaches based on local market dynamics and local regulatory requirements
Oversee talent integration, ensuring retention of key employees and leadership alignment.
Synergy Realization & Business Alignment
Identify, track, and execute plans to achieve commercial, operational, and financial synergies.
Align newly acquired businesses with DP World’s global logistics operating model and technology stack.
Ensure integration efforts support long-term business growth and strategic objectives.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Act as the primary liaison between executive leadership and integration teams, providing clear updates and recommendations.
Maintain transparent governance and decision-making frameworks throughout the integration process.
Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations and reports to senior executives, ensuring clarity, strategic alignment, and data-driven decision-making.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Define key integration success metrics and ensure timely reporting on progress.
Drive continuous improvement in PMI methodologies based on post-integration assessments.
JOB CONTEXT:
The VP – Post-Merger Integration (Logistics) operates in a fast-paced, global environment, managing multiple integration projects across different regions and business units. The logistics industry is highly dynamic, requiring flexibility in integration strategies based on deal structures, market conditions, and regulatory environments.
Given DP World’s growth strategy through acquisitions, this role is critical in ensuring seamless transitions and value realization. The VP will work across multiple functions, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution when necessary. The role also requires close collaboration with the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure consistency in project execution, governance, and performance tracking.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience: Master’s degree preferred (e.g., MBA, Finance, Operations, or related field).
15+ years’ experience in a management function within the logistics industry, ideally in a post-merger integration or transformation leadership position
Experience with scaling business processes and operating in environments that have achieved significant scale ($1B+ revenue).
Strong background in M&A due diligence, synergy realization, and change management.
Excels at interacting with business leaders internally and externally while being able to translate financial results to all audiences and gain cooperation through discussion, influence and persuasion
Knowledge of specialist financial reporting and analysis tools (in particular Oracle EBPCS), logistics operating systems (TMS, WMS, PO management Systems etc) and creating development of insightful and impactful reporting formats (eg PowerBI)

Languages – You speak and write fluent English. Additional languages are an advantage.
COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: Ability to navigate through a large organization, be a trusted partner to the various peers (i.e., various HO Departments, Regional leadership and operational teams) and maintain effective relationships to drive DP World’s strategy.
External: Build and maintain relationships with complex stakeholder landscape such as executives in the acquired company, M&A advisory firms, legal and regulatory bodies, as and where required, consultants and industry alliances. Vendor and supplier relationships relevant to the integration and possibly any involvement in investor or analyst engagement
