Position: GENERAL LAB TECHNICIAN

Purpose
Of The Job
Perform Sampling & Analysis of QA/QC samples and carry out physical & chemical tests on chemicals and hydrocarbons for Export certifications. Carry out a variety of day-to-day duties including the preparation of detailed analytical reports. Responsible for highly sophisticated instruments calibration and minor routine maintenance of lab equipment including GCs, Sulphur analyser, Ion Chromatograph, etc. Responsible for performing ISO 17025 calibration and PT analysis as and when required.

Experience And Skills
6-8 years laboratory analysis experience in hydrocarbon testing laboratory with 3-year experience in QA/QC activities including ISO 17025 activities. Attended ISO 17025 courses and having valid certificates from reputed accreditation agencies.
Educational Qualifications
Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by 2 years full time formal training in chemistry.
B.Sc. degree has an advantage to laboratory function. Minimum 3 Years QA/QC experience in ISO 17025 Testing protocols and documentation. Good knowledge of ASTM-IP, SMS and UOP test methods. Good communication and writing skills in English.
