General Foreman – MEP Jobs in Abu Dhabi at DIPG
We are seeking an experienced MEP General Foreman to lead and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing site operations. Have to manage sub-contractors, lead trade foremen, and ensure all installations match approved drawings, safety regulations, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision: Direct and monitor daily site work of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams.
- Coordination: Align MEP work with civil and structural teams to prevent site clashes.
- Compliance: Ensure site tasks follow local regulations (such as ADDC, DEWA, and Civil Defense) and safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Check installations for quality and alignment with project specifications.
- Resource Management: Allocate daily tasks, tools, and labor to maximize team productivity.
- Reporting: Track daily progress and report delays or site issues to the Project Manager.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of MEP site experience, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory role within the UAE.
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret MEP shop drawings, schematics, and layouts.
- Knowledge: Familiar with local authority codes, testing procedures, and HSE guidelines.
- Communication: Good spoken and written English; leadership and team-handling skills.
