Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consultant Gastroenterologist to join a leading healthcare team in the heart of Dubai. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations, including reviewing patient history, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests
- Provide accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment for gastrointestinal disorders, including Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease, IBS, and other digestive conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s clinical needs
- Prescribe and manage medications, and recommend dietary and lifestyle modifications
- Collaborate closely with nurses, nutritionists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high‑quality patient care
- Stay updated with advancements, guidelines, and research in gastroenterology
- Participate in conferences, workshops, and continuous medical education activities
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited and recognized university
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant Gastroenterologist
- Strong clinical expertise in managing complex gastrointestinal conditions
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient‑care skills
- Western education or training is mandatory
- Eligibility for licensure in Dubai (DHA)
