micro1 is engaging Gardeners to participate in an innovative project for a customer. In this role, you’ll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work
- Record high-quality, hands-free video data of yourself performing gardening and grounds maintenance tasks such as planting, weeding, pruning, mowing, watering, and raking using your smartphone.
- Follow precise technical protocols to ensure the accuracy, labeling, and quality of all submitted videos.
- Contribute a targeted volume of approved video data per week, in alignment with project milestones and deliverables.
- Ensure device compatibility by conducting platform-specific checks and participate in a brief AI-enabled interview during onboarding.
- Communicate proactively and clearly with the project team to clarify requirements, provide feedback, and resolve any questions about the data collection process.
- Consistently deliver outputs in a reliable and timely manner, adhering to all submission guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in gardening, landscaping, horticulture, or grounds maintenance (residential or commercial environments).
- Proficiency using iPhone 12 or newer, Google Pixel 6 or newer, or Samsung Galaxy S21 or newer smartphones for video recording.
- Ability to source and use a head-mounted recording setup (head strap) within 48 hours of starting the engagement.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step protocols with precision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing deliverables independently.
- Physically capable of performing repetitive outdoor gardening tasks safely and effectively.
- Gmail account strongly preferred to support seamless integration with project tools.
