Role Purpose
Lead the development and expansion of the bank rsquo s FX and Commodity Hedging business across Qatar and relevant international markets driving growth in risk management revenues and client adoption of hedging solutions. The role is responsible for establishing a comprehensive hedging proposition across multiple client segments platforms and product capabilities enabling corporates to effectively manage foreign exchange and commodity price risks nbsp
The incumbent will support the rollout and commercialization of a broad suite of hedging solutions ranging from basic hedging products to advanced structured solutions while strengthening product capabilities platform integration and market penetration nbsp

Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Revenue Expansion
Drive growth of FX and Commodity Hedging revenues across Qatar and relevant international markets
Increase client penetration and adoption of hedging solutions across corporate and institutional client segments
Develop market-specific strategies to expand wallet share and hedging product utilization
Identify new opportunities to commercialize risk management solutions nbsp
Product Development & Commercialization
Expand and enhance the bank rsquo s hedging product offering across FX products Spot Forward Swap Commodity Hedging Solutions Structured FX Solutions Advanced Derivative Products Hybrid and Tailored Risk Management Structures
Support development and rollout of new hedging capabilities and product enhancements nbsp
Client Advisory & Solutioning
Partner with Coverage and Relationship Management teams to identify client risk management needs
Advise clients on FX and commodity exposure management strategies
Structure tailored hedging solutions aligned with client risk appetite and business objectives
Support large and complex client mandates across multiple markets nbsp
Platform Capability Enablement
Drive adoption of hedging capabilities across trading and treasury platforms
Assess platform readiness and identify capability enhancements required to support growth
Collaborate with Technology and Operations teams to improve client experience and execution efficiency
Support digitization and automation of hedging journeys nbsp nbsp
Market Expansion & Governance
Support alignment of product capabilities across Qatar and relevant international markets
Monitor regulatory developments and market practices impacting hedging activities
Ensure adherence to risk compliance and governance requirements nbsp
Stakeholder Management
Partner with Global Markets Treasury Coverage Risk Operations and Technology teams
Support training and capability building across sales and relationship management teams
Drive coordination across country and regional stakeholders
Experience & Profile
Experience
- 12 years of experience in Global Markets Treasury FX Sales Commodity Trading or Risk Management Solutions
- Proven experience in developing and commercializing hedging products and solutions
- Experience across Qatar and international markets preferred
- Strong understanding of derivatives treasury products and risk management frameworks nbsp
Profile
- Deep expertise in FX and Commodity Hedging products
- Strong understanding of structured and advanced hedging solutions
- Experience working with electronic trading and treasury platforms
- Commercial mindset with strong revenue-generation capabilities
- Ability to engage CFOs Treasurers and senior corporate stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder management and product development skills
- Fluency in Arabic and English preferred
