Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Accountant to oversee all financial transactions, manage budgeting processes, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. This role is crucial in supporting our long-term business goals and financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
– Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
– Oversee cash flow management and forecasting.
– Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with local financial regulations and tax laws.
– Prepare and file VAT returns in line with UAE regulations.
– Support payroll processing and ensure accurate compensation for staff.
– Develop and monitor budgets, providing financial analysis and recommendations to management.
– Collaborate with external auditors and manage year-end financial closing.
– Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred.
– Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE.
– Strong understanding of UAE tax laws and VAT regulations.
– Proficiency in accounting software Quickbooks.
– Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
– Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
