Role Description:
As a Housekeeper/Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our facilities are clean, tidy, and welcoming for our clients and guests. You will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks, maintaining cleanliness standards, and contributing to the overall satisfaction of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Room Cleaning: Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms. Ensure that rooms are cleaned to company standards and guest expectations.
2. Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Replenish supplies as needed and report any shortages or malfunctions to the supervisor.
3. Deep Cleaning: Perform deep cleaning tasks on a regular basis, such as shampooing carpets, polishing furniture, washing windows, and cleaning light fixtures.
4. Laundry Service: Collect, sort, and wash linens, towels, and other textiles. Fold and store clean laundry neatly and assist with ironing and pressing as needed.
5. Safety and Sanitation: Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and properly. Adhere to sanitation and hygiene standards to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
6. Customer Service: Provide friendly and courteous service to clients and guests. Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries and address any concerns or issues with professionalism and empathy.
7. Teamwork: Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and team members to ensure that cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate work activities.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Proven experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or a related field, preferably in a hospitality or cleaning services environment.
3. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
4. Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, such as bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying heavy objects.
5. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures.
8. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED1,400.00 – AED1,500.00 per month
