Role & responsibilities
- Network Deployment: Supervise underground or aerial fiber cable laying, blowing, and termination.
- Splicing & Testing: Perform precision fiber splicing, OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) testing, and power meter measurements to certify fiber links.
- Equipment Installation: Install, commission, and configure OLTs, ONTs (Optical Network Terminals), and routers.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose physical damage or signal loss, and execute fault rectification within strict SLA timelines.
- Documentation: Maintain as-built documentation, inventory records, and daily progress reports
