FST – Production Supervisor M/F Jobs in Doha, Qatar at SPIEgroup
We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Global Services Energy Qatar.
Ensure safe delivery of core business through active management of FST production tasks and core operational activities while also integrating the execution of Campaign and Project activities. The role supports the Permit Controller, acts as an Isolating Authority, provides analysis to the OTL, prepares Permit to Work packs, participates in daily Permit Meetings, offers visible leadership and coaching, motivates staff, performs internal audits, supports OTL in policy implementation, and represents NOC appropriately.
Responsibilities
- Support the Permit Controller to ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with the Permit to Work process and company requirements.
- Act as an Isolating Authority to ensure that all isolations are designed, implemented, removed and managed as per company policy and industry best practice.
- Provide the OTL with analysis and comments on production volumes, opportunities and risks to improve business performance and reduce risk.
- Prepare Permit to Work packs to identify hazards, mitigate risks and avoid conflicting activities.
- Participate in the Daily Permit Meeting to ensure strict compliance with company requirements and safe execution of all platform work activities.
- Provide visible leadership, direction, coaching and support to team members to meet production targets and maximize production/reinjection volumes.
- Motivate and inspire staff in the execution of their responsibilities to promote a performance culture and innovative thinking around process safety and production optimisation.
- Perform internal audits of risk management systems to drive compliance and continuous improvement.
- Support the OTL in implementing relevant company policies, standards and processes to ensure employee safety and legislative compliance.
- Represent NOC appropriately and in accordance with the code of ethics in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
Profile
Education:
High‑school completion plus a three‑year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent).
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years, including at least 5 years offshore‑level on‑field equipment in diversified oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants. Minimum level of experience required: 6 years or more.
Language:
Fluent English (C‑Professional working proficiency) with written and verbal communication skills.
Skills:
Good interpersonal and organisational skills, computer literacy, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
