The Front Office Shift Leader is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily operations of the front desk to ensure exceptional guest service, efficient workflow, and adherence to hotel standards. This role acts as the primary point of contact for guests and staff during assigned shifts, upholding the reputation and image of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities
Greet and receive guests in a professional, friendly manner, ensuring guest expectations are met from arrival through departure.
Supervise and support all front desk team members, including Guest Service Agents and Receptionists, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.
Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate front office records.
Maintain effective communication with related departments (Housekeeping, Concierge, Reservations) to ensure smooth service delivery.
Provide personalized service at the front desk, handle guest queries, and resolve complaints promptly and diplomatically.
Ensure proper handover between shifts, including conducting shift briefings and preparing daily reports.
Assign duties, schedule shifts, and manage time-off requests for front office staff.
Train, coach, and evaluate new and existing front office employees, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Monitor and audit front office procedures to ensure compliance with hotel policies and standards.
Handle emergency situations and guest incidents, escalating issues as necessary to management.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and provide guests with accurate information.
Support and assist with concierge and cashiering functions as required.
