About the Role
Inspire Management Training Centre is seeking an experienced Security Trainer to join our pool of qualified trainers for ongoing security and safety training requirements in Qatar.
The ideal candidate should have 10–15+ years of hands-on security industry experience within the GCC, with strong practical expertise in security operations, CCTV surveillance, observation, risk assessment, emergency response, and security management.
The trainer should be capable of delivering professional, practical, and industry-focused training to security personnel, supervisors, operators, and other relevant staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver security and surveillance training programs to individuals and corporate groups.
- Conduct practical and classroom-based training related to security operations and surveillance.
- Train participants on effective CCTV monitoring, observation, detection, reporting, and escalation procedures.
- Provide guidance on identifying suspicious behaviour, security threats, vulnerabilities, and potential incidents.
- Conduct training on security risk assessment and mitigation measures.
- Demonstrate appropriate procedures for responding to security incidents and emergencies.
- Assess participants’ knowledge and practical performance where required.
- Maintain accurate attendance, assessment, and training records.
- Provide training feedback and recommendations following each session.
- Adapt training content according to the client’s operational environment and requirements.
- Ensure all training is delivered professionally and in accordance with applicable security standards, procedures, and client requirements.
Required Experience
The successful candidate should have:
- Minimum 10–15 years of relevant professional experience in the security industry.
- Strong GCC security industry experience.
- Currently residing in Doha, Qatar.
- Proven experience in security operations and management.
- Extensive hands-on experience in:
- CCTV Operations
- CCTV Surveillance
- CCTV Observation and Monitoring
- Security Risk Assessment
- Incident Management
- Emergency Response
- Security Procedures and Protocols
- Previous experience working in environments such as hospitality, corporate facilities, commercial buildings, critical infrastructure, airports, healthcare facilities, or major events will be an advantage.
- Previous experience delivering security-related training or conducting staff briefings/toolbox sessions is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of security operations and practical workplace requirements.
Qualifications & Certifications
Candidates should preferably hold relevant qualifications/certifications in one or more of the following areas:
- Security Management
- CCTV Operations / CCTV Management
- Surveillance
- Risk Assessment
- Security Operations
- Emergency Response
- Health & Safety
- Security Training / Train-the-Trainer
- Other internationally recognized security-related certifications
Relevant GCC security licenses, certifications, or approvals will be considered an advantage.
Location & Availability
Location: Doha, Qatar
The candidate must currently be residing in Qatar and should be available to deliver training assignments in Doha and, where required, other locations within Qatar.
This is an ongoing requirement, and successful trainers will be considered for multiple future security and safety training assignments based on client requirements and trainer availability.
Engagement Type
Freelance / Contract Trainer
Training assignments will be offered on an ongoing basis depending on upcoming client requirements, trainer expertise, availability, and course requirements.
