Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Freelance Therapist at TherapyMantra. The therapist will provide virtual mental health services, including individual counseling, couples therapy, family therapy, and child counseling. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing therapy sessions via video calls or chat, and maintaining accurate client records. The therapist will collaborate with the TherapyMantra network of mental health professionals and may also participate in workplace mental health initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in counseling, psychotherapy, and client support
  • Proficiency with virtual therapy tools such as secure video calls and chat platforms
  • Experience in developing treatment plans and conducting mental health assessments
  • Understanding of client-centered, evidence-based therapeutic approaches
  • Flexibility to provide therapy across different time zones and work remotely
  • Licensure as a psychologist, counselor, or therapist in respective jurisdiction
  • Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
  • Strong communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to client confidentiality
  • Experience in areas such as couples counseling, family therapy, or child psychology is a plus
  • Familiarity with workplace mental health programs or organizational psychology is advantageous
