Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and present high-quality pastries and desserts according to hotel standards.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Assist the Pastry Chef in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the pastry section.
- Properly store ingredients and monitor stock levels.
- Work efficiently with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Follow recipes, portion control, and standard operating procedures.
- Assist in developing new pastry items and seasonal menu offerings when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) or Commis I – Pastry in a hotel or fine dining establishment.
- Experience in pastry and dessert preparation is preferred.
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Pay: Up to QAR1,600.00 per month
