This is a high-visibility role designed for a forward-thinking professional who can transform complex datasets into a narrative that drives executive decision-making. You will be the architect of our financial models, the lead on our forecasting, and the strategic partner to our leadership team.
Your Strategic Mandate
- Strategic Planning: Lead the annual budgeting and long-range planning processes, ensuring alignment with the group’s global objectives.
- Forecasting Excellence: Develop and maintain sophisticated rolling forecasts that account for market volatility and project-specific risks.
- Performance Insight: Design and deliver monthly management reporting packages that highlight Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide deep-dive variance analysis.
- Investment Appraisal: Conduct ROI analysis and feasibility studies for new business ventures, capital expenditures, and strategic acquisitions.
- Decision Support: Act as a financial advisor to department heads, providing data-driven recommendations to optimize costs and improve margins.
- Process Innovation: Drive the automation of financial reporting and the enhancement of BI (Business Intelligence) tools to ensure "one version of the truth."
Who You Are
- The Professional: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting. A professional certification (CPA, CFA, or CMA) is highly preferred.
- The Expert: You have 8–10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 4 years focused strictly on FP&A or Corporate Development.
- The Architect: You are a master of financial modeling. You can build complex, integrated models from scratch that are both robust and flexible.
- Tech Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA/Power Query) and significant experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems.
- The Communicator: You possess the "soft skills" to challenge the status quo and influence senior stakeholders without losing their trust.
- Regional Insight: Familiarity with the Qatar market and GCC economic trends is a significant advantage.
