Job Summary
The FP&A Analyst is responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor sales performance and investigate financial variances.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.
- Support month-end closing activities from an analytical perspective.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
- Track budget performance and highlight variances.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities across departments.
- Develop financial models to support planning and strategic initiatives.
Financial Planning & Cash Flow Analysis
- Support long-term financial planning aligned with business growth.
- Analyze cash flow trends and liquidity position.
- Monitor working capital performance (inventory, receivables, payables).
- Prepare financial projections and scenario analysis.
Business Support
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.
- Contribute to process improvements and reporting enhancements.
- Support management with data-driven decision-making analysis.
Experience & Qualifications
- ACCA/CA preferred.
- 5-7 years of relevant finance experience.
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Proven track record in financial analysis and performance reporting
- Advanced Excel and strong financial modeling skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in financial systems (Oracle preferred).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and performance metrics.
