Overview: Kinetics Group is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support steel fabrication operations through the safe and efficient handling, movement, loading, and storage of steel materials and fabricated products. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts in a steel fabrication, structural steel, or heavy industrial environment while maintaining high standards of safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport steel plates, structural steel, I-beams, pipes, and fabricated components within the workshop and yard.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products while ensuring proper handling and secure placement.
- Organize and maintain steel inventory in storage and outdoor yard areas.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Coordinate with fabrication, production, and logistics teams to support material movement and workflow.
- Follow company safety procedures and safe material handling practices at all times.
- Assist with stock movement, dispatch activities, and general warehouse or yard operations as required.
Skills & Attributes Required:
- High school certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating forklifts in a steel fabrication, structural steel, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environment.
- Valid UAE Forklift Operator Licence/Certification.
- Experience handling heavy steel materials, structural components, and oversized loads.
- Good understanding of safe lifting, loading, and material handling practices.
- Ability to perform daily equipment inspections and basic operational checks.
- Strong attention to safety, teamwork, and communication skills.
