Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment to transport goods within the factory warehouse, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of forklifts before and after use to identify any mechanical issues, keeping all equipment in optimal working condition.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks, carefully balancing loads to prevent accidents and damage to goods.
- Accurately record inventory movements using the warehouse management system to track stock levels and locations.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to keep the workspace clean, efficient, and productive.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory checks as needed, updating records to reflect accurate stock levels.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding daily tasks and any potential hazards in the work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, with strong basic math and reading skills to follow instructions accurately.
- Valid UAE forklift operator license (mandatory).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center, demonstrating familiarity with various forklift types.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and workloads.
- Physical stamina and strength, capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods without difficulty.
- Proficiency in basic troubleshooting of forklift issues to minimize downtime.
- Bilingual candidates with proficiency in English and an additional language are preferred to enhance team communication.
